1. The primary business of Virutcham Microfinance Ltd (VML) is to lend money to the poor within the guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the Micro Finance Industry.

2. VML will focus on the core business function and Non-Core ones.

a. Core Functions:

Loan Disbursement
Loan Recovery
NPA Management
Finance Management

b. Non-Core Functions are anything other than the above specified core functions such as:

Data Validation
Information Technology
HR
Process
Debt Funding etc.
